The IEEE EMC Society’s field of interest “involves engineering related to the electromagnetic environmental effects of systems to be compatible with themselves and their intended operational environment. This includes standards, measurement techniques, and test procedures, instrumentation, equipment and systems characteristics, interference control techniques and components, education, computational analysis, and spectrum management, along with scientific, technical, industrial, professional or other activities that contribute to this field..”
Although James Finn first began learning and solving electromagnetic interference in the early ’90s, his development and reputation have traveled light-years within the past five years. Today, he is considered one of the foremost EMI Consultants in America. He was the project manager solving the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), a billion-dollar project. He solved robotics communication problems for KUKA and Swisslog, helped solve a vaccine delivery system for Roche Molecular, and solved many more EMI issues.
Other companies James has solved EMI and EMC issues for include: Northwell Health, Montefiore Medical Center, Yale-New Haven Health, United Imaging, Jacobs Engineering, Dupont, DeSimone Engineering, New York Department of Social Services, Federal Business Centers, Ventrop Engineering, Desimone Engineering, and more.
