Elexana Returns to Work

Now that we are in Phase One of the loosening of the New York State PAUSE Order, Elexana is officially back to work for select services. Our Manhattan location will continue to be closed until further notice, while we all work remotely from our homes.

Elexana will provide necessary services for corporations, institutions, and governments. In fact, Elexana has recently provided EMI work for an international pharmaceutical corporation (an NDA client.) As pharmaceutical companies ramp up services to fight this virus, all efforts are being made by everyone to contribute.

Elexana-back-to-work.jpeg

Will we ever greet each other with a handshake, again? Who knows, perhaps the elbow tap will be the new greeting? Or, perhaps we will all be bowing in reverence, as do our Japanese friends?

However we greet each other doesn’t really matter as long as we can all be together again and working.

Yes, it did feel great to get out last week working to solve another EMI problem.

New York State PAUSE Observation

Elexana continues to observe New York State’s PAUSE Order. All On-site EMF Residential and Commercial EMI Services are postponed until the PAUSE order is lifted, unless the request for an EMI service is deemed necessary and essential for the general public’s welfare.

We will continue our phone consultations, third-party report reviews, EMF study reviews, and remote Zoom and FaceTime testing services.

PAUSE Order:

Elexana-pandemic.jpeg
  1. Effective at 8PM on Sunday, March 22, all non-essential businesses statewide will be closed;

  2. Non-essential gatherings of individuals of any size for any reason (e.g. parties, celebrations or other social events) are canceled or postponed at this time;

  3. Any concentration of individuals outside their home must be limited to workers providing essential services and social distancing should be practiced;

  4. When in public individuals must practice social distancing of at least six feet from others;

  5. Businesses and entities that provide other essential services must implement rules that help facilitate social distancing of at least six feet;

  6. Individuals should limit outdoor recreational activities to non-contact and avoid activities where they come in close contact with other people;

  7. Individuals should limit use of public transportation to when absolutely necessary and should limit potential exposure by spacing out at least six feet from other riders;

  8. Sick individuals should not leave their home unless to receive medical care and only after a telehealth visit to determine if leaving the home is in the best interest of their health;

  9. Young people should also practice social distancing and avoid contact with vulnerable populations; and

Intro – Hi, I’m Dr. Mike Evangel.  I am a chiropractic physician for 34 years and the host of The Super Mike Show.

I am the host, but this is your show.

That is because we designed this show to be your survival guide to life.

We will cover topics such as health, fitness, nutrition, longevity, the environment and personal safety.

There's a lot of contradictory information in existence today on these topics.

When two experts have totally opposite views, how can anyone know what or who to believe?

For example, is farmed salmon good for you or should you only eat wild caught salmon?

Every episode, our mission is to cut through the confusion and the misinformation, to be your survival guide to life and to deliver the truth to you.

When you share that truth and help others, you will become their holistic hero.

With that in mind, let's talk about today’s topics.

We are exposed to more EMF in a day than our ancestors were in a month.  The Van Allen Belt protects us against cosmic radiation. Detrimental frequencies can disrupt DNA and the mitochondria, which are the powerhouse of the cells. Unhealthy EMF can come from many sources; cell phones, cell towers, Wi-F-, 5G, smart meters, hair dryers, motors, electrical devices and airport x-ray scanners. Since people can’t feel the energy, they are like an ostrich with their head in the sand.

ELEXANA's James Finn is EMF Consultant for the New York Post

Elexana’s James Finn was interviewed on Thursday and Friday discussing a variety of topics EMF, electromagnetism, the industry, the huge up-tick of EMF awareness in America, and EMF health products. The essence of today’s New York Post article is on why the apparent sudden interest in EMF and EMF products? We are now, seeing large companies, such as Timex, jumping on to the bandwagon.

Timex joins firms seeking to block tech’s ill effects

By Lisa Fickenscher

How much for that tin foil hat?

Products that block electromagnetic waves are becoming a big business as a growing number of people look for ways to protect themselves from the ill effects of technology.

From paint and tents to hoodies and socks, makers of products that claim to block harmful electromagnetic fields are on the rise, sellers say. And it’s not just people on the fringes who are buying — or selling.

Twitter Chief Executive Jack Dorsey recently revealed that he sits in a specialized tent for regular 30-minute sessions in order to get away from it all — sending sales of the EMF-shielding tent, made by Missouri-based SaunaSpace, through the roof, according to reports.

“If I were to bring my phone in there, for instance, there’s no signal whatsoever. There’s no radiation EMF from power, from Wi-Fi, from cellular,” Dorsey said on a fitness podcast in March.

While most of these newfangled products are a small business reality, some big names are catching on. Timex, for example, is new to the game with a watch that claims to block radiation from electronics. The product, which costs between $600 to $1,500, will be sold by Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus, starting in September, Timex execs said.

The reason for the increase is simple — technology is everywhere and people are afraid it’s ruining their health in ways they don’t yet realize, experts said.

“They don’t buy that it’s just stress anymore,” explained James Finn, founder of Elexana, a Manhattan-based EMF consultancy. “Insomnia is on the rise and more people are looking for answers.”

That is helping boost sales for Lucy Blyth’s magnetic discs, which claim to act as an EMF filter. Sales for the little wafers have doubled in the past 12 months, said Blyth. “We are at the same spot that the organic movement was about 15 years ago. I get a lot of moms coming to us with concerns about their kids using technology.”

Of course, the science behind such products is murky at best — and no company can claim that its products are effective without running afoul of the Federal Trade Commission’s false advertising policies or the Food and Drug Administration, which has not approved them for health purposes.

That’s why Timex holds its Teslar watch “may” reduce stress caused by electronics or “enhance immune response in the presence of EMF,” according to marketing materials.

The central feature of the Teslar line is a copper chip, which emits an impulse that “generates a biofield around our bodies,” explained Paolo Marai, chief executive of Timex Group Luxury Division.

At a demonstration in July, the company tested people’s stress levels before and after wearing the watch using a biometric device. But they failed to prove their effectiveness as the first few volunteers were “too relaxed” — resulting in the audience losing interest.

“You are really in good shape,” said Enrico Margaritelli, chief executive of Teslar, a 30 year-old technology company with which Timex has a licensing deal, to one volunteer. “It looks like you are the worst example.”

“I’m skeptical about most of these devices,” said Finn, the EMF consultant, who has seen his business grow fivefold over the last year. Finn says there are common-sense solutions, like keeping electronics out of the bedroom and turning off WiFi routers at night.

Still, he sees more large companies selling products to block EMF as Americans continue to fret about the unknown impact of technology on our health.

“I could see 3M coming out with a film to apply to windows,” he said of the maker of tape. “Or other companies making sleep canopies.”

Mitchell Marchand: The New Chief EMF Consultant of ELEXANA

Mitchell Marchand, Chief EMF Consultant, B.Sc, EE, EMRS

Mitchell Marchand, Chief EMF Consultant, B.Sc, EE, EMRS

If we are lucky in this lifetime, we will meet at least one person who has the conviction and integrity of Mitch Marchand.

I first met Mitch at the Advanced Electromagnetic Radiation Seminar in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 2018. Mitch was one of the Lab assistants and guest lecturer. He had a calm and relaxed self-assuredness and was always respectful, clear-headed, and articulate. Mitch would listen with a patient ear and answer all questions with a thoughtful and professional demeanor.

After several meetings and conversations, it was clear that Mitch was the kind of person I like to be associated with and is precisely the kind of person I'd like to have in my company. After I got back to NYC, I contacted Mitch and presented a proposal, then a contract.

Now, I am proud to announce the new Chief EMF Consultant for ELEXANA: Mitchell Marchand.

So, why did I first write about his conviction and integrity?

Mitch was a successful Professional Electrical Engineer for nine years. He had worked his way up in his field to the point where his future was secure. His wife, a naturopathic doctor, had become ill. She began researching her symptoms and came upon the ill-health effects of human-made electromagnetic fields on the human body. She purchased a gauss meter and lo and beheld, the levels were very high.

Mitch, I'm sure due to his B.Sc schooling and his Professional Engineer membership, was a little skeptical of any claims that EMF could have on health. Despite any doubts, he did some research and concluded they needed to move.

After Mitch and his wife moved, his wife's health quickly improved. This seemingly miraculous recovery piqued Mitch's interest. He wanted to learn more. His training to become a Professional Electrical Engineer did cover electromagnetism in detail, but there was no mention of biological effects regarding the interaction with electromagnetism. (This is what I find for every one of the dozens of PE's I've encountered.)

Mitch sought out the Electromagnetic Radiation Program with the International Institute of Building Biologists® and eventually became a certified EMRS (Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist.)

Mitch could not speak out about the potential health effects of electromagnetic radiation as a Professional Engineer since his opinions regarding safe exposure level limits were not in line with his profession's or the IEEE EMF safety guidelines. Mitch wanted to do more than measure EMFs; he needed to educate and speak freely about the potential health effects. As a result, he decided to take the "P" off of his title.

Tatami Room: Our Newest Affiliate

Anyone looking for a solid wood bed frame with little metal in the build and no VOC’s, has an easy choice with Tatami Room beds.

Those who are concerned about geopathic stress should know that metal near a high DC magnetic field can become magnetized. Also, RF radio frequencies are attracted to metal, so someone sleeping inside a metal bed frame or with metal springs are essentially sleeping within an RF antenna. Our education page speaks about why RF interrupts sleep.

Tamami bed frames are cut so precisely that the wooden parts interlock and don’t require fasteners. There are four small screws that are supplied for holding the center wood piece, that’s it! These beds give the feel of Japanese luxury and timeless craftsmanship.

Tatami beds are easy to assemble and look even better in real life than these pictures below.

Shipping is free. The beds are made in Japan and shipped from California. Our Tatami bed took 4 business days to arrive.

The only negative, which is also a positive, is that the king-sized beds weigh 260 pounds. This is real solid wood. The weight makes adjusting our RF blocking sleep canopy floor-sheet difficult to remove and put back, for cleaning.

Anyone with insomnia should consider Tatami Room beds along the mattresses from our other affiliate’s at Coco-Mat on Broadway as an essential step towards the healing process. If you are feeling experimental, then also try their traditional Japanese tamami mats.

Here a link to these the Tatami Room site: Tatami Room
